February 05, 2017Table: My Place at the TableMost of us can remember big family gatherings or holiday meals with tremendous food. Perhaps one of the greatest questions we ever ask at these gatherings is where do I get to sit and when can we begin to eat? As a child I remember having to sit at the kids table because the big table just didn't have enough room. We were always away from the food, the people, and the host of the meal. Imagine with me that God has a table with a place for everyone and no one is left out. We can eat at it anytime and He always places people around us. But most importantly, we are drawn to the table because of the Host of the meal. Join us Sunday morning at 9:00 and 10:30 AM for worship as we discover more about our place at the Table. January 29, 2017Climb: Our Story for OthersEvery climb ends not with the summit, but the descent. It is this journey back to the “earth” that requires much of us. As we descend, we are able to think through the journey and all that we have learned about ourselves and God. The climb is not simply about me, it’s about us. God draws us to the summit to reveal much about who we are and who He is along the way. Our job is to come back down and share that story with others. In fact, perhaps the most significant part of the climb is the story we can share. With “Our story for others”, Pastor Butler concludes our Climb series. Join us Sunday mornings at 9:00 and 10:30 am for worship. For more information about CrossPointe, please visit us at www.crosspointe.tv...more0minPlay

January 22, 2017Climb: Quiet Our MindAt the summit, we find ourselves caught in grip of something amazing but many of us can’t see the view because our minds run in too many directions. We don’t see these temporary summits as simply a foretaste of an eternal summit we are all climbing towards. This week, Pastor Butler encourages us to to quiet our mind at each of the summits we achieve to truly hear from God. Join us Sunday mornings at 9:00 and 10:30 am for worship. January 15, 2017Climb: Set our FaceWhen we commit to the climb, we accept the challenges before us. We have assessed the climb and understand what is being required of us. For some, that “climb” is being a better parent or child. Some realize that God is calling them to be a more dependable employee or better neighbor. The climb is different for everyone at different times, but it still requires the same thing of us - to Set our Face. This week, Pastor Butler continues our journey up the “mountain” as he speaks to us about the task of accepting the climb. If we are to summit, then we must set our face toward it and climb. Join us Sunday mornings at 9:00 and 10:30 am for worship. For more information about CrossPointe, please visit us at www.crosspointe.tv...more0minPlay
