Each of us have different “love stories” and they all involve different things. However, there does seem to be some common threads in these relationships. While it doesn’t cover all aspects of biblical, romantic love the Song of Songs give a story of a couple whose love is perhaps the best picture of what that should look like. This week, Pastor Butler finishes the series “Love” by pointing to some fixtures in this great story.

All around us are examples of love - good or bad. While we might argue that many of the examples are poor examples, we all must be willing to accept that all of those modeled around us are second rate copies of the right one. In final two weeks of our series Love, Pastor Butler is going to walk us through sections of a famous poem or love story we find in the Scriptures called “Song of Songs.” Through the words of a bride and her husband, we will attempt to look into a Biblical example of Godly love experienced by two people.

As we “Move” toward what God is calling us, we must recognize that all we do is for his glory. All that we accomplish, all for which we raise the banner, all that we claim for Him will be the result of truly being his followers.
