The resurrected Jesus graciously appearedto many of His disciples in the days following the day of the event. Then and now, some believe quickly, some want proof, and some never believe. We are called to know the risen Christ by faith and then go live by faith.

The circumstances of our lives are often overwhelming. Without the resurrection of Jesus, we will be without hope and consumed by fear. Jesus is available to you, but He waits for you to believe in Him and ask Him in.

Something happened on that first Easter morning that no one expected, and no one can ignore. The Christian faith rests entirely on the historicity of the resurrection. If you deny it, you must be able to account for what happened that first Easter morning.

Jesus’ death was necessary for our salvation. When He died on the Cross, there were dozens of witnesses who were each faced with deciding for themselves who Jesus is. In life and death, Jesus showed Himself to be God’s Son and the Savior of men and women.

We come to the Cross and see our King who is willing to die so that we can live. Jesus saves those who acknowledge their great need — their guilt, repent, and put faith in Him.

For years Jesus had been saying that He must go to Jerusalem. It can be understood as the “Divine Necessity.” From eternity the Father knew the Son must die so that we can live. Come to the Cross and see your King. Trust Him with your all and know his salvation.

Jesus Christ is a King with a Kingdom and this Kingdom is not of this world, and yet the entire world cannot escape the reach of His Kingdom. His Kingdom is not of this world, but it certainly can be found in this world.

It is possible to study the Scriptures, know many of the basic teachings, and particpate faithfully in religious services and still not know and trust Jesus. Each of us must decide what we will do considering the claims of Christ.

After an intense time of prayer with His disciples, Jesus sees the spiritual struggles of His friends. Jesus’ heart is always for the gracious restoration of those who will acknowledge their sins and turn to HIm with full trust.

Jesus is about to face the supreme test of His life. The disciples’ faith will be tested like never before. Jesus is prepared for His test, but the discples are not. How do we prepare? Just as Jesus did - by spending time with the Father in deep and sincere prayer.
