In Genesis 20, we discover Abraham falling into the same old sinful patterns. Abraham's lie threatens the promise of an heir from his own line, but nothing will stop God from fulfilling his promises to Abraham. Once again God preserves Abraham and Sarah as an act of grace and ensures that his purposes for redemption shall stand.
