In Jonah chapter 4, we'll see how Jonah is angry and outraged at God for saving Ninevah, so much so that he just wants to die. God, in mercy and love, holds a mirror to Jonah showing him this whole thing isn’t about him at all.  

In week 3 of our series in Jonah, Pastor Nolan will lead us through chapter 3 where Jonah is commissioned again by God to go to Ninevah and preach against their evil and wicked ways. We often love to give good news, but rarely do we like to give bad news. Ultimately, we can't really know how good the good news is until we know how bad the bad news is.

In week 2 of our series in the book of Jonah, Pastor Nolan preaches through chapter 2, where we'll see God's grace and mercy towards Jonah in the form of a fish and a storm leads Jonah towards repentance and thankfulness.

Pastor Nolan begins a new series of messages through the book of Jonah, starting in 1:1-17. In chapter 1, Jonah rebels and flees both physically and emotionally away from God's call. Similar to Jonah, we're all rebels to the will of God. Also, similar to Jonah, we have access to the mercy and grace of God through Jesus Christ.
