As Christians, we must understand that there is very real punishment for those that do not know God. That should motivate us to share the gospel at every chance we get.

Worry and regret will drain us of our joy. To live in joy, we must make the decision to do so everyday by praying about everything, thinking about the right things and trusting God in all things.

If we live our lives focused on earthly pleasures, we will kill our joy. To live in joy, we must allow God to redeem our pasts, give us a purpose for today and give us a plan for tomorrow.

The book of James is what Christianity in action looks like and we wrap up that discussion with some final thoughts.

Living to impress others will kill your joy. To grow your joy, develop a servant’s heart, put others first and choose to “walk humbly with your God.”

Finding God's will sometimes seems like a mystery but as we walk with God, it becomes more apparent what He's called us to, now it's up to us to act.

Happiness is external while joy is internal. Happiness is based on circumstance. Joy is based on Christ. Happiness happens by chance. Joy happens by choice. To live in joy, stop asking “why?” and start asking “what?” while refocusing on what matters most.

Wisdom is not of ourselves but of God and He gives it to all who ask for it.

Everyone has influence over someone else but too many times we use that influence for selfish gain. Uncommon influence points others to better things, a better way, and a better life. Ultimately towards Christ.

Conflict occurs in relationships, there's no way around that. It's how we navigate that conflict that will define us and our relationships.
