We all love a promise...and we hate it, too, right? When someone promises us something, it creates a longing, a hopeful expectation for the fulfillment of something special. Promises give us something to look forward to –– and something to wait for. What’s beautiful is, while we often break our promises to each other, God promises us better things than we could ever imagine, and he never breaks his promises. As we gather this Sunday, we’ll celebrate one of God’s greatest promises ever to us and why his promises give us hope in the here and now.

Life is kind of a paradox sometimes. We want to be hard workers who know how to rest too. We want to go deep with a few people, but be accepting of everyone. Every body has two strands of DNA. These strands contain the genetic material that makes each of us unique. We don’t see the actual DNA though. We see that DNA’s expression. In the same way, who we are as the Crossroads family is expressed because of the unique DNA that the Lord has given us. So we want to explore the unique DNA that God has given us. In this weekend’s message, Pastor Daniel will take the first strand of the Crossroads DNA.
