Hey, folks, sorry for for recent delays on BOP, but we're back with a vengeance! Not only is Episode 72 now up, but 73's going to be following in just two days! This time, the whole crew's back, along with Jonny's buddy Jason Farmer, to talk about Her, American Hustle, Inside Llewyn Davis, The Wolf of Wall Street and more! Then, in the second segment, we go to town on Mike's pick for Movie of the Month: The Planet of the Apes. Was it more fun than a barrel of non-monkeys, or did we want it to keep its damn dirty ape paws off us? You'll have to listen in to find out!

Welcome to the year 2014. Sports are going to be even crazier this year, I can tell! This week the boys talk about Black Monday, Alabama's stunning loss and a preview for the National Championship game. So stay inside and bundle up with your favorite sports podcasters!
BOP's back and ready to ring in the new year! This time, we're talking The Hobbit, Alpha Papa, Kill Your Darlings, After Earth and we even revisit Super Mario Bros. The Movie! Happy Holidays from the Men of Muscles! This week we do a Year-End Review, but not before we dissect the greatness of Andrea Bargnani.
It's John's birthday so Jesse has invited his best friends for a rousing romp. They explain to Erik and Jon why Jason Kidd did his best James Brown impression, and Jesse cooks up a birthday sound collage for John.
Hey, folks, and welcome back to Box Office Poison! The whole crew's back for this one - in the first segment, we talk Catching Fire, Frozen and plenty of Doctor (and even Dr.) Who. Then, in the second segment, we discuss my pick for Movie of the Month: Stanley Kubrick's Eyes Wide Shut. Did we find the (perhaps not so) erotic thriller to be a masterpiece, or is it sitting firmly with Kubrick's lesser works. You'll have to listen to find out!
Have some thoughts of your own for the next episode? Let us know via email ([email protected]), Twitter (@crosstawk) and via the comments section on the site. And be sure to come back for Episode 72 for Mike's pick for Movie of the Month: Planet of the Apes!
(The original, obviously).
Thanks for listening!
Cut from the complete 10-hour telethon recording (get the whole thing from NWR), we present the first-ever live edition of The Space Q&A! Scott is host as always, introducing his own topics, questions from the chat, and live callers to quiz Jonny on all things space. We had a blast making this show and hope you'll find it entertaining and informative, as always! Back in John's apartment, the boys discuss the tragedy of Alex Rodriguez, the Fielder for Kinsler trade, and fantasy book Daniel Bryan's involvement in last night's Survivor Series.
Is that? Could it be? Your eyes and ears are not playing tricks on you, folks. BOP is back for the second time in a day to bring you more chatter about movie things AND movies. We cover Thor: The Dark World, About Time, Escape From Tomorrow, Ender's Game, Saturday Night Fever, and more before opening up a fresh batch of your listener mail in our second segment.
Listen up people, tomorrow, NOVEMBER 23RD at NOON EST, go to NintendoWorldReport.com for the 4th Annual NWR Telethon to benefit Child's Play, a charity organization that sends toys, games, and consoles to sick kids in hospitals. Every cent raised goes to Child's Play and it's a great cause plus, if we get to $5000, you'll get a segment of BOP LIVE at 9pm EST, where we'll talk about the Super Mario Bros movie. Get to givin, y'all.
If you wanna write in and let us know what you think about the show, get at us through twitter (@crosstawk), e-mail ([email protected]), or leave a comment below. Then head on over to iTunes and leave us a review. We'd really appreciate it. See ya next time for Episode 70 and Karl's pick for Movie of the Month: Eyes Wide Shut!
Big plans are discussed. Sort of. But along the way, there's talk of scallops and whether or not Marcus knows the difference between a circle and a triangle; the Redskins (I mean the Reds); the touchy issue of repirations (not actually touchy); the GRAVITRON; and eventually birthday festivities. Did you know that Chuck E. Cheese used to have a GIGANTIC four-player version of Hungry-Hungry Hippos? NO? WELL NOW YOU DO. These are the things we talk about while we eat food. We also talk about Ender's Game (the movie), even though none of us have seen it. Is it still in theaters? I don't really care.
If you like our little dog-and-Marcus show, you can leave a comment on the website or email us at [email protected]! You should also rate AND review us on iTunes because we're awesome. You know we are. Anyway, enjoy our terrible show.
