The Book of Daniel represents Jewish folklore that inspired people to live with face while constantly under pressure to adopt the cultural norms around them. It still inspires similarly today.

It is not enough to simply imagine, wish, or pray for things to get better in the world. We NEED to be the hands and feet and mouths of God in the world that God longs to redeem.
