We all face obstacles in life but have you ever thought about the obstacles to following Jesus? As we continue in our series ''Jesus - The Real Action Hero,'' a study in the book of Mark, Pastor Clay is going to point out two glaring obstacles seen in chapter 3 that keep people from following Jesus.

Last week Pastor Clay began to show us some important truths about grace from thE second chapter of Marks Gospel. Today, were going to look at two more very important truths about grace. The religious leaders of Jesus day had totally misunderstood what Gods grace was, and how it was received. As you might guess, Jesus wastes no time getting to the truth about grace. Christ paid the price for you and me to have all that God has for us. But have you ever stopped to think about what all grace means?

Grace. Just the sound of the word seems comforting. But how often do we really stop to think about grace and all that it means for our lives? As we continue our study through the book of Mark, we come today to the calling of Levi, or Matthew as Jesus is going to call him. Its a beautiful example of what happens when Jesus come into contact with a person, and as Pastor Clay is going to explain Levis life would never be the same once the grace-giver came his way. Join Pastor Clay for todays message on the wonderful gift of grace.

Pastor Bill talks to us about Life Group's and in specific, accountability.

As we continue our series from the book of Mark today, we come to chapter 2 and the story of a paralyzed man who needed to come to Jesus, and four friends that were going to do everything they could to make sure that happened. In todays message, Pastor Clay is going to show us what it took for these men to do what they did. Were also going to see the result of their effort. Its a great story of compassion and determination.

Were continuing our study in the book of Mark in our series, ''Jesus - The Real Action Hero.'' This week, we'll hear how Jesus' action rescued all of us from Satans power and from our own sin. The problem for many though is that they arent living daily in the victory that Jesus secured. Pastor Clay is going to give us two very important pieces of advice to help us live in the reality of the victory that has already been won.

What does it mean to be called a minister of the Gospel? Of course in a very real sense all followers of Jesus are called to minister in His name, but what does it mean to be called a minister of the Gospel and to be called to full-time vocational ministry. what role does the church play in that call? Today were taking a break from our series Jesus - The real action hero, our current study based on the Book of Mark in the New Testament. Join us now as we take the opportunity today to ordain Jon Spallino to the Gospel ministry. Youll hear a bit of Jons call to ministry in todays message and hear as Pastor Clay takes us to Acts chapter 13 and shows us the responsibility of the church and the responsibility of the candidate. Its an honor anytime a church has the opportunity to do this.

Last week we kicked off a brand new series entitled, ''Jesus - The Real Action Hero,'' based on the New Testament book of Mark. We're going to be working our way through all sixteen chapters of the book of Mark and as we do, Pastor Clay is going to show us the actions of the One who came to save the whole world. Today, we're continuing our study of chapter one as Pastor Clay points out five declarations found in Marks opening chapter and what those declarations mean for us.

Were kicking off a brand new series entitled, Jesus - Action Hero. Its going to be an in-depth study of the book of Mark. Of course each of the Gospel writers recorded the life of Jesus. They each did it from their own unique perspective, and together they provide us with a rich and full picture of our Savior. But as youll hear Pastor Clay say, Mark focuses more on the actions of Jesus. The earthly ministry of Jesus only lasted about three and a half years, but as well see as we make our way through the book of Mark, Jesus accomplished a great deal.

We've been making our way through the Christmas season in a series entitled ''Its a Wonder-Full life,'' each week looking a different character in the Christmas story and their wonder-full life that first Christmas. The tradition of giving gifts at Christmas started in celebration of the greatest gift ever given, the Lord Jesus Christ and today Pastor Clay is taking us to a passage that you may never have heard before at Christmas time. Listen in because as you'll hear, John chapter 1 tells us much about the greatest gift ever given.
