Sometimes the reality of Christmas looks much different than what we thought it would be. The stargazers found in Matthew chapter 2 came in search of the One born King of the Jews and their search was, in some ways, not what they expected and in some ways, it was much more. Who would have ever thought that you would find a king in such a humble surroundings? Who could have guessed the outcome? This week, we're going to read the wonderful story of magi and discover why, they don't call them wise men for nothing.

In the midst of the hustle and bustle and the shopping and eating we all struggle to keep the reason for the season in focus. One of the ways we do that is by going back and reading again the accounts of the birth of Jesus Christ. Today Pastor Clay takes us to Luke Chapter 2 and as we look at what may be a very familiar story, we're going to learn some new lessons that will encourage and help us to trust God in our everyday lives.

This is the final message in "The Truth Project" series. Matthew chapter 9 tells us a lot about our need for Jesus, but it also tells us a lot about God’s heart. The world around us is hurting and needs the love of God more than anything else and today, Pastor Clay is going to take us through Matthew Chapter 9 to learn from Jesus what it really means to care.

This week, we’ll review the points Pastor Clay made last time as we pondered the question, “how much would you pay for an atheist?”  This week’s CrossWalk wraps up this two-part Thanksgiving message and takes us back to Hebrews chapter 11.  What are the resources we need if we're willing to pay the price so that others can hear the good news of Jesus? We're about to find out God's answer to that important question.

Hebrews chapter 11 is known as the “Hall of Faith” chapter because it recounts the great faith of men and women like Noah, Abraham, Sarah and others. Today Pastor Clay is taking us to the closing verses of that chapter to see what those who have gone before us have paid in order to advance the work of the kingdom.

Whether we like it or not, governments and their leaders play a big part in our lives. Throughout history some governments and rulers have been favorable to Christianity, but many have not. Followers of Jesus need to understand how God expects us to look at government. Today's CrossWalk is through Romans Chapter 13 as Pastor Clay takes us to a passage of scripture that will give us a better understanding of government and how followers of Jesus should act toward it.

Throughout the history of the Church…it is the unity and love shared among individual believers that has given power to the Church. Has the Church lost its understanding of what it means to say we are “one body?” Today on Crosswalk, Pastor Clay walks us through the scriptures as we explore the body of Christ and discover the power of one and the incredible gift God has given us and how through that gift, we discover a connection with others that is unlike anything this world has to offer.

Shortly before Jesus was crucified, He prayed to the Father on behalf of all believers. A close look at that intimate conversation between the Son of God and God the Father reveals to us aspects about the relationship within the Godhead that can help us in our relationships. Today Pastor Clay shows us that god not only gives us the power to succeed, He also gives us the model of unity through the relationship within the Trinity.

The world we live in today seems to be filled with much uncertainty. There is uncertainty in the world’s economy. Wars are going on everywhere. In our personal lives circumstances can often leave us wondering what in the world is going on. Where is God in all of it? Today Pastor Clay is taking us to 1 Kings Chapter 22 where we are reminded that no matter what men may do, God is large and in charge.
