I was at a new location for this morning's crosswalking efforts--the corner of Bridge and Kimberly. Earlier this week, a young man -21- was struck and critically injured while crossing the street, at this intersection.--Jasmine approached the corner wearing a light t-shirt with shortened sleeves and a light pair of pants. Winchill put the temperature in the low 20s. I offered her my coat, but she politely declined.---So, what are you doing here-- She asked.---Well, I'm here hoping people will stop to talk and hear how they can be reconciled to the God who created them, through faith in Jesus Christ,- I replied.--Jasmine, about my youngest daughter's age, told me she was raised in a Christian home. Drugs and other bad decisions led her away from the church. Jasmine has been clean just a couple of weeks.
