Society imposes rules on what is and is not permissible.  The Bible, however, states that all things are permissible.  This week, Pastor Doug teaches that we are to look at those things that are beneficial.  We should not be looking at God's law in order to see what we can get away with.  Instead, we should look at God's law as a way to benefit others.

There are times when the oppression brought on by the enemy gets harder, but that always seems to precede a great act of God! We can trust in God to deliver a victory! Is oppression over? No. But we are going to see God’s good work come shining through.

God has created humanity to bear His image.  Because of this, there is a special value on human life.  This applies not only to the question of ending a life, but also the quality of life.  This week, Pastor Ben walks us through the ideas to see human life as God does.

Gideon learned a powerful lesson in fighting the Midianites - trust in the Lord beyond your doubts, questions, and exhaustion and He will restore and rebuild!

“This is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it.” This verse does not just reference Sunday morning… it’s applicable to Monday, too, and every other day. Even those days where your world is falling apart deserve to be appreciated as days that God has given us.

Once we come to a personal and saving knowledge of Christ, the next step we are told to take is to share this knowledge with others.  This is what it means to be involved in ministry.  Many people may think of ministry as a formal program, but this week, Pastor Ben tells us that most ministry occurs as part of our day-to-day lives.  We need to look for what Jesus is doing in the world around us, take part in His mission, and invite others to join with us to spread His glory.

This week, we look again at the biblical view of the church.  God has called the church the bride of Christ.  Pastor Doug begins to walk us through this idea by teaching what a marriage is to look like.  He then moves on to show us how Jesus shows his love for us.

Everyone deals with grief at times. In some seasons of life, grief seems to be a constant companion. But take heart - God is always there in our time of greatest need. His word can also be our comfort and this week, Pastor Dennis shares several Biblical strategies to coping with grief. Listen in and find comfort in the arms of your loving, heavenly Father.

This week begins a two-part look into the Bible's view of the church.  We start off looking at it as the body of Christ.  It is not a club or a building.  We are meant to be the church everywhere we go.  We are to view our roles in life according to God's plan.  As members of the body, we need to realize that we are called to be used to strengthen other members, and the body as a whole.
