How do we understand God’s unexpected will? Do we think we can do things better than God does, or do we say thy will be done not my will be done Lord?

November 15, 2023 - Today we are looking at arguably the most famous Psalm. Because God's grace and mercy have chased us down, we will get to dwell in the Lord's house forever.

Through the story of Jonah, we’ll discover that God uses unexpected people to save unexpected people.

November 8, 2023 - God is powerful enough to create everything AND take care of everything, including us He gives to us things that are needed, good and bad. We have to trust deeply in him - blessed be the name of the Lord.

We’ll explore the concept of God's unexpected methods and means in delivering salvation. Through the story of Gideon, we’ll highlight that God's ways may not always align with human understanding, but they are always for His glory and our good.

October 29, 2023 - We’ll explore the great Reformation hymn: “A Mighty Fortress is our God,” and we’ll see that though our satanic foe comes against us, we have a Champion and Savior in Jesus.

October 22, 2023 - What does it mean when we call God holy? This week we look at the hymn "Holy, Holy, Holy" and describe the gap between God and us, but we have hope in Jesus who closes the gap for us and brings us near to God.

What kind of "leader" is Jesus being prayed to in the hymn: Christ Be My Leader? He is certainly NOT the CEO type. Jesus is more like a Cave Rescue Diver...when it comes to leading and guiding us through life as our Leader, Teacher and Savior.

"Chief of Sinners" is a hymn that encapsulates the journey of acknowledging our sinfulness, embracing God's boundless grace, and experiencing the joy of redemption. It reminds us that no one is beyond the reach of God's love and forgiveness.

October 4, 2023 - It doesn't matter which way we choose because we know the result will be sweet either way. One of our blessings is that God gives us wisdom to make good choices. But regardless, we know that the end will be okay because everything is in God's hands.
