The supply chain issues have hit every industry and every aspect of our daily lives and that includes Daequp who has not been spared in the supply chain woes. Daequip President Ed Lingel explains they are seeing lead times on everything they buy, specific materials not available and substitutions offered ( which doesn’t always work). They have been forced to re-look at the way they do business, increase stocking levels and urge our customers to forecast the long term. This can also be a challenge because so much is dependent on capital infrastructure, major projects, resource/ commodity pricing, and local and global economics. In this part 2, we focus on how Daequip has been working closely with their customers to try and react to their needs with the understanding that their customers' supply chain issues are typically even more challenging.
