Paul’s letter to the church in Corinth speaks into a community that was deeply divided. Instead of being united in Christ, they were caught up in factions and personal loyalties. So Paul calls them back—to real unity, to wholehearted devotion to Christ.
And it raises an uncomfortable question for us today… how often do we allow division to creep into our own churches? How often do we quietly set unity aside in favour of our own preferences, opinions, or agendas?
It’s something worth honestly reflecting on.
