Stress can also lead to emotional problems, depression, panic attacks, or other forms of anxiety and worry. Thus, increasing our pain.
It's not just the stress itself that's the problem. It's how our body responds to it.
Therefore, finding resources or tools that will help you manage your stress - will also help you manage your CRPS.
