It is once again time to go on Geoff Keighley's wild ride. We had to fall back on Discord audio for the first 20 or so minutes, so there is some light cutting out. It improves after that as we were able to use our locally recorded audio. Sorry about that!

Today we are feeling nostalgic...for a time long gone, when multiplayer games were only expected to last you for a few hours a week for maybe a month or two. When console wars were the most toxic spats in the gaming space. When Kevin knew a British guy with a dead son on Xbox Party Chat (unsure if this is real).

We were meant to play timely games, but only Nicco really understood the assignment. However, Brody REALLY enjoyed Pentiment and you may have forgotten it exists. Chris' only timely contributions this week were Sonic Rumble, Sonic Racing Crossworlds, and the first two episodes of Pluribus. Only one of those three brought him joy. Lastly, Nicco is eating crow on turn-based RPGs. The day has finally come.

Trav has played Megabonk and foresees losing her life to it. Arc Raiders whelmed Moriarty, and Chris is just happy that there's a good Digimon game now.

We all have that one game series that seems like it'd be pretty cool to enjoy, but it's just far too daunting to actually take the time to experience. The Witcher, Yakuza, Kingdom Hearts, Fortnite...yeah, Fortnite. Which one is objectively the most difficult though?

Surely there can only be so many gigantic, free-to-play gacha games vying for player's time and awareness, right? Also, thoughts on why Justin stays with Genshin years later, and a quick update on the Bengal's great year from their biggest fan.
