What began as an electronic pop/rock experiment for multi-instrumentalist songwriter Vinnie Velez now exists as White Noise Radio, a full-fledged radio-friendly rock trio. In one year's time White Noise Radio music crept out of a dusty basement studio and onto commercial, college and internet radio throughout NY and the US. Jed began recording demos of his painstakingly crafted alt-pop tunes and giving them away at solo coffeehouse performances in the mid-1990s. The demo cassettes traveled far and wide from Jed?s home base of Albany, NY, finding their way into the hands of artists like Johnston, King Missile, Anal C*nt, Agnostic Front and Brian Dewan, all of whom recorded covers of Jed?s tunes.

While continuing to produce new recordings as a solo artist, Jed currently serves as a member of three bands: Sevendys, an ongoing exploration of classic rock forms with Avi Buffalo guitarist Avi Zahner-Isenberg and drummer Sheridan Riley, bass pioneer Chuck Rainey, and percussion great Jerry Marotta; the experimental-psychedelic-indie-metal Skyscape with singer Dom Maltempi; and the ferocious Jeebus, which boasts an all-star lineup that includes guitar legend Reeves Gabrels, drummer Joe Abba, and Hanslick Rebels Mike Keaney and Alex Dubovoy. Jerry Yaro is the most eclectic musician in the band singing and playing guitar, mandolin, fiddle, with bass and cello sprinkled in for good measure. His song writing is heart felt and drawn from real life combining catchy N.R.B.Q. like pop arrangements with elements of some of the great country music interpreters such as Graham Parsons. He can also rock with the best of them when it's time to get feet tapping.

Long a part of the local music scene Jerry was looking for a new rootsy acoustic direction and in possession of an old banjo that needed restoration when he met Brian Daniels. While that particular banjo was beyond redemption except as wall art a musical association was begun. Brian is Big Creeks other song writer drawing influence from the likes of The Mississippi Sheiks, Earnest Tubb, and numerous country blues artists. Brian contributes vocals, banjo, and guitar.

After several months as a duo Jerry convinced his long time musical partner and good friend Bob Assini to come to a practice session. A lifetime drummer and percussionist who teaches drums in the Albany area Bob has experience with a wide variety of musical styles even traveling to Ireland where he is a welcome participant in authentic seisiuns. After hearing the music Jerry and Brian were creating, Bob readily agreed to join the group providing the percussive glue that ties everything together.

Drew also covered a Phil Ochs song "Outside Of A Small Circle Of Friends", which features Lincoln Mayorga, Phil's original piano player, as well as a newly written verse by Drew. In 2007, Drew's first commercially available CD "Easy Listening For The Hard of Hearing," was released on Swingbatter Records. Six selections from the CD have been in rotation on Sirius/XM Satellite Radio's Laugh USA and Raw Dog. Additionally, Drew's music has been heard on several commercial airlines, including Frontier, Jet Blue and Airtran. In 2006, "Where Are All The Songs About Chanukah?" also received national airplay. In 2004, Drew's first original Christmas song, "Rudolph's On Steroids," was played on Dr. Demento, and has become an annual favorite. 2001 saw Drew's first commercial success, when "Santa Claus is Coming To Rock You" aired on the nationally syndicated Dr. Demento Radio Show.
