Freed from the artifact’s torment, the Duke recounts visions of Zariel and a celestial blade capable of saving Elturel, the legendary Sword of Zariel. Lulu confirms the importance of the blade and points the party toward Fort Knucklebone, where two kenku scavengers may help them find it. After a restless night marked by Zera’s troubling dream of her father and the Hells, the party descends from Elturel into the blasted wasteland of Avernus itself. Navigating treacherous climbs, infernal patrols, and a skirmish with bearded devils, the group begins their perilous journey toward the fort and the next step in saving the fallen city.
