EOS developer Block.one has announced it will begin to stake its share of tokens to vote for the network’s 21 ‘Block Producers’ (BPs), in an announcement posted yesterday, June 28.

In the EOS ecosystem, EOS holders can stake their tokens to vote for so-called ‘Block Producers’ (BPs) – the equivalent of miners on the Bitcoin (BTC) blockchain.

In keeping with the terms of EOS’ constitution, Block.one now plans to stake its own token share – which is 10% of the initial 1 billion EOS token allocation. According to Block.one’s post:

U.K.-based cryptocurrency futures trading platform Crypto Facilities is launching a litecoin (LTC) derivative product.

According to an announcement on Wednesday, the new U.S. dollar-denominated service will go live on Friday, June 22, and will allow investors to long or short futures contracts that have litecoin as the underlying collateral, with weekly, monthly and quarterly maturities.

Timo Schlaefer, CEO of Crypto Facilities, said the decision is a result of having received "strong client demand" for litecoin contracts. "We believe our LTC-dollar futures contracts will increase price transparency, liquidity and efficiency in the cryptocurrency markets," he said.

Litecoin may have hit fresh 2018 lows Wednesday, but could be in for corrective rally courtesy of oversold conditions.

The world's sixth-largest cryptocurrency fell to $93 at 15:10 UTC, the lowest level since Dec. 8, and is currently trading at at $95.80 on Bitfinex, down 9 percent in the last 24 hours.

The 48 percent drop from the May high of $182 has turned the tide in favor of the bears. However, the sell-off looks overdone as the daily relative strength index (RSI) has nosedived into oversold territory (below 30.00) for the first time in over two months.

Hence, LTC could revisit $100 (major psychological hurdle) in the short-run before resuming the drop towards $80.
