An attack on cryptocurrency doesn't need to be an outright ban.  

All it takes is attacking the fiat on/offramps - centralized exchanges and stablecoins.

Seems some are misunderstanding the real problem.  It's not "staking" in general.  It's the nature of how centralized exchanges - or most of them - do it.

Bottom line: if it's not you directly staking with tokens remaining completely yours while enriching others, the SEC thinks that's an issue.

Is it possible that the founder of Cardano is creating artificial pumps of ADA?  We think it's very well possible.

But others also did some digging and believe that he has nowhere near enough money for such a purchase; thus questioning the timing and veracity of his statements.
