    We're excited to be chatting with Zeez and Eric, Co-founders of WellnessDAO. Many times, especially in web3, I think, we find ourselves putting off our mental health and wellbeing in order to keep up with all the development news and speculation.

    Today we will explore this topic framed by the personal journeys of Zeez and Eric, and WellnessDAO.
    We start off by learning of both of their own wellness practices such as yoga, meditation and journaling, and how it influences how they connect and engage with the community.
    We also discuss how NFTs can be used to promote and reward participation, and aligning the community as a whole.
    Lastly, we close out on a conversation about the importance of having a clear mission to inspire a strong culture and future development of the DAO.

  • Snapshot | Digital Governance - Nathan VDH

    Hello, everyone. And welcome back to Crypto Sapiens. Today we are talking with Nathan, Ecosystem Lead at Snapshot, to discuss digital governance and the role that Snapshot, the decentralized voting system, plays in it.

    We kick off the conversation with an introduction to Nathan and unpack his interest in political philosophy from a young age. He recounts his desire to learn more about this subject, eventually leading him to study Political Philosophy in college.
    He shares his initial exposure to web3 and contributions to it as a writer. This eventually led him to learn about Snapshot, write a deep dive about it, and meet its Founder, Fabian, with whom he hit it off immediately. 
    We explore the Snapshot platform, its humble beginnings, and the role it now plays in the governance of protocols and communities. Touching on some of the unique attributes that make it an invaluable tool in the web3 ecosystem.

  • DAOhaus | DAO Tooling as a DAO with Spencer Graham

    Welcome back to Crypto Sapiens. Today we are talking with Spencer Graham, aka spengrah. He is an early builder of DAOHaus, the no-code platform for creating and managing a DAO.

    We kick off our conversation with him sharing his crypto journey starting in late 2016, ramping up in 2017, and in 2018 co-hosting the Chicago Ethereum meetup. In 2020 he attended ETH Denver, an inflexion point in his career. Leading him to join Raid Guild.

    He describes joining DAOHaus, or pokemol (short for pocket Moloch) as it was called at the time, a mobile-first moloch DAO app that provided a no-code way for people to discover and create proposals, view treasuries, and summon a DAO. Eventually, a handful of people including himself developed the app into DAOHaus v2, which is the app we can all use today.

    We continue our chat by reviewing the DAOHaus platform and the many features that provide a rich and nuanced experience for DAO operators and members. 

    There is a lot to unpack in this episode. I truly enjoyed my chat with Spencer, and I hope you did too.

They continue to make an impact in the web3 space today by helping to onboard and empower marginalized communities.
