Psalm 23- is truly a beautiful depiction of God’s love, His protection, promise, and overall heart for His sheep 🐑. In this sermon, I share a story I recently was moved by, & it wrecked me, & ever since I will forever look at psalm 23 from this vantage point. The oil depicted in psalm 23 is far greater than just a cute verse we quote outloud, but rather a powerful prayer we should be praying often. Today, I decided to share my story on Domestic Violence, and surviving such traumatic events. Statistics show 85% of women are victims of IPV (intimate partner vi0l3nc3), & women between the ages of 16-24 are more likely to be victims. In my case this all held true. I share very vulnerable times in my life, to which some was very painful to even express out loud. But I do know my story has the ability to help & encourage someone going through the same thing.
Abu$3 should never be normalized, and I will do what I can to always advocate for women & to end these types of viol3nc3 acts.
Praying my story encourages you, helps you, & gives you a glimpse of hope that you’re not alone.

Return back to the Father’s House ♥️
In Luke 15:11 the Bible speaks on the prodigal son & how he left the things of his Father’s house, took his inheritance and fled to fulfill his own desires.
I believe we are in a time where the prodigals are returning, they are coming to their senses, and they are running back to the Father’s house. All the while God is waiting, He runs towards you when He sees you, He will clothe you with the finest robe & even throw you a party.
I just want to encourage someone no matter how far you’ve gone, what type of mess you may find yourself living in, you can ALWAYS return to the Father’s house.
In the story the Father was waiting for the son, and when He finally seen His son coming back in the distance, the Father ran to his son! In Jewish culture, kings don’t run, but this Father made the exception. Wherever you find yourself today, God will run after you & chase you down & embrace you. He will say “welcome back home.” 🥹♥️✝️🙏🏼

Crystal describes what Mary felt like in these moments, perhaps feelings of isolation, abandonment, being ostracized from her community & her soon to be Husband Joseph. We’ve all felt a time or two just like this.
