One night in 1973, in a multi-million-dollar house in Aspen Colorado, a young, ambitious and broke woman named Stevie Nicks sat alone with her dog, her guitar and a pen and paper and let the beautiful view of snow-capped mountains inspire her to write a song about her life's direction, and whether or not she and her boyfriend, Lindsey Buckingham, were on the right path. Flash forward about a year, and they were both famous rock stars and finally enjoying the fruits of their labors and more. That was the night Stevie wrote "Landslide".
In this premiere episode of Linda's Turntable, Linda dives deep into what makes "Landslide" a great song - why she loves it, why we all resonate with its lyrics, and why, at some point in our lives, everyone has looked out on their version of "the snow-covered hills" and questioned their life path as Stevie Nicks did that night in Aspen almost fifty years ago. Why does "Landslide" endure? What is the Great Question? Why is this one of the songs that play perennially on Linda's turntable? In this episode, all that and more will be answered, and before long, "the landslide will bring you down."
It's been a loooooong time since Linda's come to the airwaves to inspire us, but she's back for 2021 to tell you the tale of a few pricey items she MUST have, a plan for the new year to bring her out of the environment that's been eating her alive, and how YOU TOO can keep hope alive this year and manifest the things you want. Stay tuned for the end of the episode to see how a Group Manifestation can get us all on the right rack to make sure Hope springs eternal this year for us all!
It's been a looooooooong time since you heard Linda over the airwaves, but it's 2021 and she's back with the tale of the Dior blanket and why it's become imperative that she have one...and what her plans are to make her year (and her life) take a turn for the better. Also, Linda will be asking YOU, a Citizen of Linda's World, to write in with your own questions for a brand-new segment. It's a new year, it's the Old Linda, but a New Linda and some cool designer stuff is not far behind!
