  • Starting the New Year Off Right
It's back to school time and back to the CSD Power of We Podcast too! Shane and Jen welcome CSD English Teacher, Susan Ban, for a great talk about the different ways we kicked off the new year with our classes. We know that relationships are key and we all want to start the year off developing strong ones with our students, but this might come more naturally for the extraverts amongst us...so what about the introverts? Shane and Susan share some interesting insights, too!

  • How We Survived May Madness
In Episode 13 of the CSD Power of We Podcast, we have a great discussion about ways that we work as a school community to finish the school year strong and remember #whatmatters: Relationships. A good sense of humor helps, too! How do teachers get through an incredibly stressful, busy time of year and end the year smiling and keeping important relationships (with students and co-workers alike) at the forefront? Shane and Jen have taken the podcast to the sunshiny outdoors since we are now on vacation and are joined by Community School of Davidson’s Marianne Coale, Connie Wessner and Beth Knight for a fun end of the year wrap up.
