CSG Podcast

It's not often that the great podcasters come together for a Super Podcast, but with the Broncos embarking on what should be an epic playoff journey; we wanted to do something special as well and we did it live at Boone's Tavern.
With the help of John Reidy, Colin Daniels and Scott Stafford of the South Stands Denver Fancast - we were able to do just that. With Ross Martin out of town on business, Jeff Morton, the CSG regular, stepped in to helped make this SuperPod possible.
We dove deep into the NFL playoffs and discussed what awaits the Broncos this weekend with the Ravens in town. We got into Nuggets talk and why the team has been leap-frogged by the Clippers and Thunder, but also where the blueprint points now. We even got into some Avalanche talk, the best part of the NCAA football title game, music, and much much more.
Let this episode soak in and get ready for an awesome Colorado sports weekend!

Guess who is out of town again? If you said Ross Martin, then you are correct!
With Ross away Nate is able to delve into some serious Nuggets talk, but he can't not break-down the biggest football game in Colorado since 1999. The Ravens vs. Broncos Divisional Playoff game on Saturday is going to be a good one and a great one for the home team.
Sit back and relax or crank up the treadmill or stair-climber and enjoy the show!

Jeff Morton from Denver Stiffs joins the show to bring in the New Year. We're talking about the No. 1 seeded Broncos - and perhaps Peyton Manning's sore forehead - and the homeward bound Denver Nuggets. And as usual when Jeff is in the studios - some movie talk.

With Ross Martin out on assignment on this snowy Christmas day in Colorado - Nate Timmons goes it alone on this edition of the podcast. This might have been a disaster or it could have been brilliant. Listen to the Nuggets and Broncos talk and decide for yourself.

Merry Christmas to all of our awesome listeners!

They say that a day late is a dollar short - good news for you is that this podcast is free! Nate was on assignment at the Spurs vs. Nuggets game Tuesday (Dec. 18) evening, but what was Ross doing? Ross was figuring out who won our Browns vs. Broncos ticket giveaway!

Peyton Manning and the Broncos need to win their next two games to secure the No. 2 seed in the AFC. It's easy to be pessimistic about Denver's chances heading towards the post-season, but why think that way?

The guys also review the Spurs vs. Nuggets game and Ross asks Nate about getting a chance to talk with San Antonio head coach Gregg Popovich.

Enjoy the show!

Denver fans' "fandom" is often brought into question. Colorado is a beautiful place to live and there is a lot to do here; so why are we fans of these hometown teams?

Plenty of Nuggets talk this week and Ross and Nate breakdown what the team is doing with the shot clock this season, what's the deal with the closers for the Nuggets, and much much more.

We're taking a quick look at Broncos vs. Raiders, looking ahead to the Ravens (what is going on in Baltimore?), and taking another look at the NFL playoff picture.

How Ross Martin is still agreeing to pick games is beyond his co-host's comprehension. With just four weeks of picks left, it will take a mighty comeback for Ross to get the lead back. You could say he's Colorado State and down 20 at the half to Nate Timmons (Colorado). But this comparison makes little to no sense as Ross is the CU guy and Nate the CSU guy.

Point being ... Ross needs some help. So, Jeff Morton joined us for the picks this week in an attempt to throw Nate out of his rhythm. Click play to see if it will work ...

Week 13 Results: Ross: 8-8Nate: 11-5

Ross and Nate are joined for this podcast by Jeff Morton from Denver Stiffs. The boys are talking CU football and if Butch Jones will take the gig, a look at the Nuggets, recapping Buccaneers vs. Broncos, and previewing Broncos vs. Raiders. The laughs from the trio are aplenty and that might be good-or-bad.

Coming off yet another humiliating weekly loss, Ross attempts to figure out where he went wrong and where he can go right this week with his picks. Nate is shifting into cruise control and ready to keep on rollin'!
