January 12 marks the 3rd anniversary of legal sales of recreational marijuana in the state of Connecticut.
Co-hosts Brian Scott-Smith and Gregory Stroud, editor in chief of CT Examiner, talk to three experts in the field about the state of the industry in Connecticut and how legal cannabis has fallen short of once-rosy promises for equity, health and tax dollars.
Joining us for the roundtable are Lou Rinaldi, an advocate for medical cannabis in Connecticut; Erin Gorman Kirk, Connecticut’s Cannabis Ombudsman, and Tess Eidem, senior research scientist at University of Colorado, Boulder, who specializes in cannabis quality and safety.
