Today James charges the rich with 4 serious crimes. We see his finger pointed and we direct it toward ourselves and ask the question; does our theology inform our philosophy on wealth or is it the other way around?

There is only one judge and only one planner of the future and we must not assume His role. In light of this truth, James says to the believer, know our place and do the right thing.

Today James is exposing a sick spirit of false wisdom and he's redirecting us to a better spirit of true wisdom. This true wisdom is what the church needs. It's what the world needs!

Today, James steers the church away from favoritism and guides us toward loving our neighbors.
