Part 2 of our milestone 30th episode finds your comrades in classic form. Turning away from world news, we riff on animals, aliens, and accepting the things that we are powerless to change.
The comrades' thirtieth episode wasn't intended to be a two-parter, it just kind of happened that way. However, those who love the shorter episodes will be pleased (at least about the running time.) Despite being a milestone episode, the usual subjects (being tired, wanting to win the lottery. and super heroes) predominate, as well as current events (the TikTok ban, campus protests, and wars.)
Some links were promised and here they are:

In this episode. Michelle tells the story of how Olga of Kiev executed (pun very much intended) what in the present day would be described as a "John Wick by proxy" after her husband, Igor of Kiev, was murdered by a neighboring tribe circa 945 AD.

We've been gone for a while. Sorry about that. You can blame the usual suspects; Michelle's ancient laptop, our pain-in-the-ass recording software, and Reg forgetting to edit.
Anyway, we're back now and in this episode your comrades are cooking up schemes to escape the rat race.

The Cubicle Comrades welcome Office Folk Hero Comrade Liz to the pod to discuss Imposter Syndrome in the workplace. As of late, the technical issues persist, but so do we!

Michelle discusses the manslaughter trial of 'Rust' Armorer, Hannah Gutierrez-Reed. To no one's surprise, Reg promptly derails things by talking about 'Young Sheldon.' Just kidding...he talks about an alternate reality in which Michelle is both a hotshot trial attorney and Batman. The two then riff on a terrible idea for a post-apocalyptic horror movie and, as usual, the recording software continues to cause migraines.

AI meltdowns abound, a supermassive black hole has been found, and the (Eurasian) eagle (owl) is down...for the count.

Released a day early so as to coincide with the holiday, the comrades are joined by returning guest, Ian, for a lively discussion on the perks and perils of living alone.

Michelle cracks open the history books to remind everyone that most of our modern workplaces are Disneyland when compared to the workhouses, poorhouses, and asylums of the not-so-distant past.
