The San Jose Barracuda (8-12-4-0) gave up a season-high eight goals on Wednesday at Tech CU Arena, and would fall 8-6 to the Tucson Roadrunners (15-8-1-1). The 14 combined tallies were the most in a Barracuda game this season.

Despite the loss, Barracuda forward Nathan Todd (5+8=13) picked up an assist and now has points in eight straight game.

Eetu Makiniemi made 22 saves on Friday for his first shutout win since Jan. 20, 2023, and his fifth of his career as the Barracuda blanked the Calgary Wranglers, 3-0. Makiniemi has now won back-to-back games and is 1-1-0-1 against the Wranglers lifetime. Shakir Mukhamadullin (1+1=2), Leon Gawanke (0+2=2), and Danil Gushchin (0+2=2) would all finish the game with multi-point efforts, and Nathan Todd and Thomas Bordeleau would pot power-play goals.

The San Jose Barracuda (6-10-4-0) kicked off a five-game homestand with a 6-1 win over the Henderson Silver Knights (10-10-1-2) on Friday night at Tech CU Arena. The victory was the Barracuda’s first in four attempts against the Knights and matched the largest margin of victory this season.

Danil Gushchin set a new career-high with four points (1+3=4) and Nathan Todd (1+2=3) picked up his first three-point game in a Barracuda sweater and in the process extended his point streak to a season-long four games.

The San Jose Barracuda (5-8-4-0) notched a season-high three power-play goals and were able to hold off a late Coachella Valley Firebirds (9-7-0-0) push on Wednesday night at Acrisure Arena for a 5-3 win. The victory was the Barracuda’s (1-6-2-2) first ever over the Firebirds in 11 attempts.

Leon Gawanke led the way as he collected his fourth-career three point game (1+2=3), and Thomas Bordeleau (0+2=2), Jacob Peterson (1+1=2) and Nathan Todd (1+1=2) all finished with two points.

The San Jose Barracuda (4-8-4-0) led 2-0 on Saturday afternoon and put 44 shots on net but failed to hold their lead and would eventually fall, 4-2, to the Ontario Reign (10-4-1-1). With the win, Ontario has now won four in a row and has points in their last eight (6-0-1-1).

In the loss, Jacob Peterson notched his second goal in his last three games, and Danil Gushchin snapped a five-game goalless drought.

The San Jose Barracuda (4-7-4-0) outshot the Ontario Reign (10-4-1-1) 32-23 on Friday night at Tech CU Arena but failed to beat veteran goaltender David Rittich and would fall 3-0. For the Reign, it was their third consecutive shutout victory.

The San Jose Barracuda (4-6-4-0) held off a San Diego Gulls (2-9-3-0) comeback attempt to claim a 5-4 win on Tuesday night at Tech CU Arena. With the loss, the Gulls have now dropped 12 in a row (0-9-3-0).

Thomas Bordeleau (two goals, one assist) and Ethan Cardwell (one goal, two assists) each recorded three points as the Barracuda collected their second win on their season-long seven-game homestand.

The San Jose Barracuda (3-6-4-0) erased a two-goal hole on Saturday at Tech CU Arena but would eventually fall 3-2 in overtime to the Colorado Eagles (8-5-3-0).

In the OT defeat, Bradley Marek would pot his first in the AHL and Thomas Bordeleau would bury his third of the season.

The San Jose Barracuda (3-6-3-0) fell behind by a pair of goals in the first period on Friday at Tech CU Arena and could never recover, falling 5-2 to the Colorado Eagles (7-5-3-0).
