  • Pre-Pregnancy: What We’d Tell Our Pre-Baby Selves

Before baby, there was us; going to brunch, taking trips, renovating a house, and figuring out life together. Looking back as new parents, what would we tell those two people? 😂🤍

In this episode of Cue & Do, we talk about preparing for parenthood: strengthening your relationship, building your village, making room in the budget, and asking the big question, do we both want a baby?

Plus, the little things we appreciate differently now… like sleeping in and taking an uninterrupted shower.

Whether you’re thinking about having a baby or already navigating new-parent life, come hang out with us as we reflect on life before pregnancy and everything this new chapter is teaching us.

  • Welcome to Cue & Do - Let's Get Fluent In Baby

We already speak two languages at home. Now we’re learning a third one: Baby. 👶 Let’s get fluent together!

We’re James and Camila, first-time parents with our two-month-old daughter, Celeste. In this first episode of Cue and Do, we share why we started a podcast at 2am instead of sleeping (kidding… mostly), and the big idea behind the name: babies are constantly communicating through body language, movements, and little noises. Spot the cue, then do something, before it turns into tears.

We also talk about how we’re raising Celeste by mixing modern medicine with the wisdom of traditional and hunter-gatherer cultures, keeping what works and dropping what doesn’t. We’re not experts or here to tell you what to do. We’re sharing our experience; what we’ve tried, what’s helped, what hasn’t, and what we wish someone had told us along the way.

💬 Tell us: what’s one thing nobody warned you about in your baby’s first month? Leave it in the comments. We might read it on the show.

Follow so you don’t miss next week’s episode. Happy baby, happy parents. 🌊
