We Talk Music is ready to rock, and Brett is joined by multi-instrumentalist, singer, and Guinness book of world record holder, Ilan Rubin of The New Regime.

Ilan Rubin has played with many bands over the years. He is the youngest musician to ever play Woodstock at 11-years old, and from there he moved on to drumming for Nine Inch Nails, and has played with Paramore and still drums with Angels & Airwaves. The New Regime is his own band and he is releasing a series of EPs called Heart, Mind, Body and Soul. The new album, Heart and many other topics are on the podcast, including:

* How he managed to learn so many different instruments

* Why he decided to release it as a series of EPs

* How he creates a song

* The way he is sequencing the EPs vs the album

* About not wanting to be pigeonholed as a musician

* Doing double duty playing on tour with Angels and Airwaves

Lots of great stuff in this interview, so check it out!

Season 8: Simply the B-Est! wraps up with Samurai Cop, the final film from legendary director Amir Shervan. A passion project and almost-lost classic of the VHS era, Samurai Cop is a hilarious ride.

When Japanese organized crime embeds itself within LA, the police turn to one man to take down the deadly Yakuza - martial artist Joe Marshall, aka "The Samurai." With his fearless swagger and rock hard jaw, The Samurai tears a two-fisted hole through the mob and doesn't stop until the job is done.

Sean S. Cunningham (Friday the 13th) directs The New Kids, a revenge flick starring James Spader and Lori Loughlin. Season 8: Simply the B-Est! heads to southern Florida for a tale of drug-crazed lunatics!

When the parents of Abby McWilliams and her brother Loren are killed in an accident, it's decided that Abby and Loren live in Glenby, Florida with their Aunt Fay and Uncle Charlie who own a gas station and an amusement park. Loren and Abby don't have much trouble making friends at their new high school. Loren starts dating Karen, the local sheriff's daughter while Abby starts dating Mark. Loren feels uncomfortable when he sees Dutra, a blond-haired drug dealer, harassing Abby in the lunchroom (Spader at his most evil). Dutra and Loren's feud escalates until Dutra forces a showdown at the amusement park by kidnapping Abby.
