Stephen King — ‘Get busy living or get busy dying”

Johnny Gioeli always seem to be on the go. As the lead singer for Axel Rudy Pell and Crush 40 he travels the world spreading his brand of positivity mixed with his uniquely amazing vocals. But for many of us he will always be known first as the lead man for the cult fave hard rock band Hardline, and Johnny Gioeli returns to We Talk Music to chat about the band’s new album Life, available through Frontiers Music srl.

* Johnny talks about his hectic touring schedule over the next few months

* A discussion about music keeping you young as evidenced by legendary acts like Deep Purple

* Legacies in music and how Johnny Gioeli would like his to be that he was a good person

* The new album “Life” and the balance the band found creating a classic yet modern sound

* Creating music that is uplifting and makes you feel good

* The pressures the music industry places on young talent and how he’s matured and learned from that over the years

* Staying true to himself and being himself in all situations

* How he loves Freddy Mercury, Brian May and the rest of Queen and how that led to Hardline’s version of the classic “Who Wants to Live Forever” on the new album “Life”

Johnny Gioeli is one of the best guests the We Talk Music podcast has ever had on. A truly genuine person, we are so glad to have him back (listen to his first appearance promoting his solo CD “One Voice”) and to be able to present it to you listeners. Enjoy, and please share where you can.

They were born under a bad sign! They are, Son of Boogaloo! Get your sons, get your daughters, get that sheet of cardboard you use for break dancing, it’s time for Breakin 2 Electric Boogaloo! The film this podcast got half its name from finally gets the KFEB treatment!

Breakin’ 2 features three characters from Breakin’ – Kelly (Lucinda Dickey), Orlando “Ozone” Barco (Adolfo Quinones), and Tony “Turbo” Ainley (Michael Chambers) – who struggle to stop the demolition of a community recreation center by a developer who wants to build a shopping mall. They use any way they can to raise the funds they need, from car wash to guilt trip to giant street festival (spoiler, only two of those work).

As always, the KFEB hosts provide ratings for the films that are based on the fun, enjoyment, and craziness of the film. These scores will be tabulated and an on-going grid will keep you up to date with the search.

So sit back and enjoy the laughs as KFEB pops and locks their way through another Lucinda Dickey classic! (Seriously, she has 5 movies and this is the second one we’ve covered).
