On this very special episode we are joined by cult film legend Catherine Mary Stewart to discuss her 2nd film: ‘Powder Heads’ (1980). This low-budget ski-comedy from Canada comes with multiple warnings of South American drugs and loose women, and while it features little of either- it is jam-packed with extended prog-rock downhill skiing music videos, a Canuck vomiting into a police car, a party church bus and an ending no one saw coming. Join us and CMS herself to reckon with this little talked-about obscurity. It’s a semi-religious experience. Recorded at Alamo Drafthouse Cinemas in Tempe Arizona.

Strap-on your space-beards and grip your asteroid blasters for the latest episode of View and Spew where the gang discusses ‘Space Raiders.’ This scrappy low-budget classic from legendary schlock producer Roger Corman features a jaunty alien, space-pies in the face, beer drinking children, excessive starship battles and more recycled special effects than you can count. You’re not ready.

This episode, the View & Spew crew don their alter egos and Savage Beards to bring you their reactions to GUN SELF-DEFENSE FOR LADIES. This instructional video from one-man powerhouse Derek Savage features Tae-Kwon Do, desert gunplay, dramatic reenactments, gun show tours, and a very special cameo from everyone's favorite: Cool Cat! Believe us when we say you've never seen a self-funded, straight to DVD firearm video until you've seen GUN SELF-DEFENSE FOR LADIES (and for Men too!).

In this episode of Horror Cult, Kirby and Victor discuss folklore in horror film. From Midsommar to Scary Stories to Tell in The Dark, its been a big year for anthology inspired horror and w delve deep into exploring that genre of film from Creepshow and beyond!

This episode the View & Spew gang assume their new personas as the Savage Beards and explore the work of Derek Savage and his children's film COOL CAT: KID'S SUPERHERO. A collection of dramatized safety tips from a giant orange feline, Cool Cat is ostensibly the coolest cat around and loves all the children. A deeper look under the surface however reveals an occasionally hallucinatory and surreal family life that is at times laughably terrible and uncomfortably bizarre, but always fun to watch.

On the latest episode we subject ourselves to the ultra low-budget ‘Suburban Sasquatch’ which features a bloodthirsty interdimensionally-teleporting Bigfoot battling an Ugg boots wearing Native American warrior with healing powers and a magic bow. If that sounds awesome: don’t worry: it’s not.

This delightful episode we explore the hidden gem SPELLCASTER (1988) featuring Adam Ant as the devil, a drooling anthropomorphic demon throne and zombie infested dungeons. From some of the filmmakers behind RE-ANIMATOR and legendary producer Charles Band, this film caught us by glorious surprise. What a treat!

On this episode of View & Spew Review we dive into the booze-soaked Los Angeles noir SUNSET GRILL (1993) starring a mustachioed and cowboy hat-sporting Peter Weller as a washed-up private detective hunting the people who killed his wife. This film features John Rhys-Davies as a badly-accented Irish corrupt INS agent, Lori Singer as a sultry femme fatale, Stacy Keach as a villainous industrialist, a young Danny Trejo in an alleyway fight and a mysterious plot involving organ harvesting. Peter Weller also breaks a lot of bottles and chases a car while screaming expletives.
