Cult Movie Cult

It’s a new series: SO BAD IT’S GOOD.  And we begin with the mother of them all, Ed Wood’s glorious ode to sci fi, PLAN 9 FROM OUTER SPACE (1959)!

Cult Movie Cult is a podcast hosted by two independent filmmakers who love cult/b/underground movies.  Join them as they watch and discuss the horrific, the obscure, and the flat-out strange from the other side of cinema.

We conclude our series Before Middle-earth: The Early Films of Peter Jackson with THE FRIGHTENERS (1996)!

This one certainly isn't our favorite, but there's still much to discuss as we talk about the film and wrap up our thoughts on Jackson as a filmmaker and how his work has evolved.

We continue our series Before Middle-earth: The Early Films of Peter Jackson by discussing HEAVENLY CREATURES (1994).

This film is somewhat of a departure for Jackson, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.  In fact, it may be his best film yet.
