"Fair is Fair!"

Ok so we are now officially back in business! It's been way too long since our last episode but we're back with a bang! On this week's episode, we'll be talking about the 1985 cult classic "The Legend Of Billie Jean" directed by Matthew Robbins and starring Supergirl herself, Helen Slater.

Billie Jean and her brother, Binx, dream of leaving their hometown of Corpus Christi, Texas for Vermont. When Binx's scooter is trashed by the local bully Hubie Pyatt. Billie Jean goes to Hubie's father to ask for the money for the repairs, only to have him try to sexually assault her. As she escapes, Binx finds Mr Pyatt's gun and unintentionally shoots him leading to Billie Jean, her brother and friends to go on the run, becoming folk heroes in the process.

Tune in to hear about why we took such a long break, what we got up to during our time off, our movie and tv shows of 2021 and trying to understand why The Legend Of Billie Jean wasn't a smash hit when it came out.
