Have you fallen prey to the common misconception that a curiosity isn't worth your time if you don't think it will earn you money? We default to viewing passions that don't generate revenue as a waste of energy and a senseless way of investing our time. If it won't pay the bills, why do it? 

While we need to earn a living, not all of our passions and hobbies need to contribute to it. Let's make sure we don't write off interests just because they won't increase our balance in the bank.
