In this family, God is your Father. This means that in Christ you are known and loved, you are accepted and cared for, you are loved regardless of what you have done, and you are forgiven for what you have done and do. You are given Christ's righteousness.

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20

God has saved us not just for ourselves, but for His purpose in the world. We have been saved to make disciples to praise His glorious name.

The power of the gospel is that God has saved us from the penalty of sin, God is saving us from the power of sin, God will save us from the presence of sin.

Jesus is the King of Kings. He has ultimate authority to determine and affect His will over all creation. But unlike human kings who use the lives of their subjects to secure their power, Jesus uses His power to secure and empower those who are His. Believing this about Him helps us lay down our kingdom and submit to His rule.

God is a Missionary God. He is on a mission to redeem and restore all of creation to Himself through Jesus. As God’s people, our whole lives have been saved for this mission, so we should reorient all of life to that mission.

God is glorious. He is of ultimate worth, value and priority. Jesus shows us what a life that gives God glory in everything looks like. We are by nature glory givers, always glorifying something or someone. In Jesus, we are given the power to bring God glory in all that we do.

God is forever good. He's good because He gives good gifts, and He's good because He gives the best gift to us...Himself.

God is the only righteous judge. His judgments are perfect in every way. His desire and heart is ALWAYS that his judgment would lead towards repentance, restoration and righteousness.

Jesus is the Bridegroom of the church. As His bride, we wait in joyful anticipation for the return of our Bridegroom remembering Him by drinking the Cup of the Covenant.
