He is a gospel music artist and the author of three books, including one written collaboratively with his wife. Donavon also creates online music courses, serves as a motivational speaker, and works as a creativity and life coach.

In his free time, Donavon enjoys spending time with family and friends, thinking and acting outside the box, writing new songs, creating books, and producing motivational videos. Inspiring, motivating, and helping people is a great joy for him.
