This is one of the most fascinating discussions I have had in a while. And perhaps one of the most important.

My self and Richard Grannon sit down to discuss how the Gnostic concept of the Matrix can be mapped over the psychological concept of a Narcissists 'shared fantasy'. 

The Narcissist lives in a fantasy world of his or her own making. They play a fictional version of themselves that rules over this newly created 'matrix'. They spend their days hunting for victims to drag into their world to consume. 

The Matrix is often seen as the world that Neo is trapped inside. He takes the Red pill to wake up. But what If the writers of that film had Satanically flipped the script all along. Did Neo create the 'Matrix' concept as a shared fantasy in his mind in order to escape his own mundane, yet very human existence? In the Matrix movies NEO is the ONE, he is the Messiah and the savour. This is exactly what a person with NPD creates with their own shared fantasy.

This is all about rejecting reality. 

So I ask, is it time that we took a more sober look at this place we call home ? If we are going to have a world that is a better version of the one we have today, can the solution be found in facing reality head-on? No more fantasy aliens invasions, no more demonic entity attacks. Just people stopping other people doing shitty things to other people.
