"Are you even hispanic?" A question we used to ask ourselves in the midst of our time in private school. How growing up feeling different, like an outcast, or separated from our culture, made us realize the greater need to seek out our cultural identity as adults. What damage did private school cause us? And how did we go about obtaining what we lost at such young ages?
