Hustlin' and being on the grind have become mentalities amongst ambitious millennials in the workplace. Pulling 10-hour workdays, working on the weekends and even timing your bathroom breaks have started to become the norm. But at what cost? It can burn you out and lead to greater effects on your mental health.
For episode 4, Tim, Kat and Seth followed around people who are always hustling to find out how their work mentality has affected their lives. Hearing about the lives of an adjunct professor, college students who are also artists, poets and magazine editors, and also hearing from a full-time creative freelancer and influencer about their lives, it's clear that hustle culture affects everyone differently and many react in different ways.
