Oliver has spent his whole career working in the L&D function for various well known hotel, leisure, luxury and lifestyle organisations including Yotel, The Berkley, Dorchester collection and Whitbread. I recently came across Oliver on Linkedin, where I learnt that he had just been made redundant from his current role, but what struck me were the 100+ personal messages he had received from well wishers. So I thought to myself, this person seems to be doing something right. In this episode we will of course be talking about L&D, but also broaden it out to talent, performance, engagement, diversity and culture. We’ll also give Oliver an opportunity to talk about what kind of employer he is looking to work for next.
Simon Viggers has worked in most areas of HR and communications, in a career that spans more than 20 years. Simon has just left his position as Vice President of Human Resources, Communication and IT at Otsuka Pharmaceutical in Europe. Previously he headed up the HR function at Novo Nordisk Inc in Princeton, New Jersey. Simon has a strong profile within cultural and behavioural change, and like us is a strong believer in harnessing a culture where the voice of the employee is valued and actioned. We talk to Simon about the future of HR, what it's like to manage a multinational HR team, and what he believes will be the future of work.
Sonny Drinkwater and Josh Barley discuss their healthy snack brand, Snackcess. Snackcess want to unlock the potential of the modern workforce- by curating healthy and innovative snacks from around the world and delivering them to workers.
By the end of the episode you will have a better understanding of how healthy snacks can drive employee engagement and productivity, as well as some ideas on how you can implement healthy snacking as a company benefit to reinforce behaviours.

In this episode we will be talking to James Dalton, Director of Engagement for Visibly. James ran the global employee engagement strategy and service delivery for FirstGroup plc (UK, USA and Canada - 110,000 staff).
Today we will be discussing some of the tools and strategies that James has used in the past to engage dispersed workforces. We will also be talking about the current situation with many furloughed, working from home, or even facing redundancy.
Finally, we will be talking about one of my favourite subjects, the future of work. What does the future of work actually look like?
