On Episode 9 we are joined by Toronto Sports-Media Broadcaster and NBATV  Host Akil Augustine. Akil is responsible for curating content across the Toronto Raptors digital platforms, becoming a prolific courtside reporter for the Raptors 905, and worked alongside some reputable figures on NBATV Canada. Giving the unique time in professional sports,  Akil shared his insights on the future for sport-media professionals, as well as his non-linear path to success. Along his journey Akil highlighted the importance of using his platform to vocalize for visible minorities. On Episode 8 we were joined by Toronto OG and Director of the @pivot.to Anish Bhalla. Anish reflects on his playing career that took him as far as Malaysia, before teaming up with his mentor and Toronto basketball legend Phil Dixon to coach Metro Prep. During his coaching stint at Metro Prep, Anish started to venture off as a creative EntrupenEntrepreneuruer producing content for Canada Basketball, OnPointbasketball, and the NBL. Anish spoke on the importance of using sports to set-up different business ventures/careers.  This conversation also included a historic timeline of the Canadian prep school system, AAU circuit, and the evolution of the NBA. 

In Episode  7 we were joined by Toronto Entrepreneur  Randy Osei. Randy is the CEO/ Founder of Rozaay Management, and Founder of the Athlete Tech Group.  Under the Brand division of Rozaay Management, Randy has intersected the sports world with emerging brands and corporate businesses. Now entering the tech space, he looks forward to growing his venture with the Athlete Tech Group. As the tech scene continues to evolve, it’s interesting to see tech-infused within different industries including music, sports, and business strategies. Randy will share insights on the evolving tech industry, entrepreneurial stories, and the future of technology integrated within the music, gaming, and sports industry.

In Episode 6 we were joined by the CEO of Noir et Noire Antwi Atuahene. Antwi has cultivated a creative space through the culmination of his brand. He shared some insights on his career trajectories, brand integration, and the importance of circulating economic power among the black communities. 

Antwi currently serves as the Assistant GM for the CEBL Niagara River Lions and GM for the Mississauga Tiger High-performance program.  The former Professional Athlete uses his wealth of knowledge and life experiences to educate the next generation of athletes. For episode 5, our host @twingq spoke to the myth, the man, and legend Myck Kabongo. The Professional Athlete is a jack of all trades, also known as Lukusa-WOE. Whether he's in the studio or on the court, Myck looks to set examples for the next generation to follow. Kabongo spoke on his previous summer of activities, highlighting the launch of his 1st annual WOE/G2S camp, Covid workouts, and upcoming projects. In this episode, we were joined by the CEO of 416 Wheels and Tires and Revibe To. Justice Okeke. The Toronto entrepreneur spoke on personal business experiences,  African heritage, and wellness hacks. This candid conversation also includes ways to influence young industry professionals, the importance of black leadership + more. 

In Episode 3 we are joined by Scarborough basketball legend Daniel Mullings. Growing up one of the toughest Inner-cities in Toronto's GTA, Mullings used basketball as a vehicle to get outside his environment. As a high-school athlete Mullings emerged as a one a top player in Toronto and was selected to the All-Canadian game.

 In his senior year of HS Mullings received an athletic scholarship to New Mexico State University. Throughout his collegiate career, Mullings was one of the most decorated Canadian athletes. In 2015 Mullings was selected to play for Canada's Senior Men's National team, alongside NBA stars Jamal Murray, Corey Joseph, Kelly Olynk, and Tristan Thompson. That team won the silver medal and for Mullings that was the defining moment in his career. A couple of years later, he started his professional career overseas playing in Germany, China, Russia, and Finland. 

Now as a six-year pro, Mullings has solidified himself as the veteran playing of his ball club, now looking to expand his business ventures. In this episode, Mullings spoke on the development of his brand "Unlocked Souls",  which is a culmination of his cultural influence, athletic journey, and fashionable style.  Tap in for our unique conversation on sports, social justice matters, and more.

In this episode, we were joined by Creative Entrepreneur and Director  Adrian Wallace (@ehdubz). Wallace has cultivated a diverse media portfolio with the production of his inner-narrative projects  @courtsideseries + @blacksundoc. Still emerging as a Director, Wallace spoke on some experiences working in the corporate world, while, highlighting the importance of representation in the creative arts and film industry.
