Peace and greetings family, tonight we want to talk about something that was called the conscious community. Is there still a think-tank call the conscious community? Are we still fighting for liberation and black empowerment? Just asking a question from some observations that I've had. Thanks for following the broadcast.

We always hearing the lectures from him talking about Kemet but what about this lecture with him talkin about Jesus and Christianity.

"Enslavement to Emancipation" is an informative and compelling documentary chronicling the history of the Compensated Emancipation Act of April 16, 1862, freeing the enslaved people of Washington, DC. Featured historians and experts describe the creation and history of the city's annual Emancipation Day celebration and our continuing struggle for full democracy in DC. The documentary also highlights the single largest attempted slave escape in U.S. history -- the daring and dramatic bid for freedom aboard a schooner called the Pearl. "Enslavement to Emancipation" recounts the heroic war-time contributions of what was then called the U.S. First Colored Troops, African American slaves-turned-soldiers fighting for the Union during the Civil War. On this week broadcast eye will be bringing you a other classic episode from Culture Freedom Radio Netowrk. This episode was aired 6 years ago.The title comes from the Swahili term "Maafa", which means "tragedy" or "disaster", and is used to describe the centuries of oppression and diaspora resulting from slavery. "21" refers to the 'maafa' of the 21st century.

A lot of my so-called black people mad at Hollywood for not telling the supposedly accurate truth about the Harriet Tubmanin the movie. But let the truth be told Tyler Perry is a black person who hadn't made one historical black film honoring our ancestors. And he has his own Studio. Stop expecting your enemies to honor you.

Peace family, Elder Ahrayah Yasharahla back in the house with another thought-provoking show. What the hell is wrong with the mindset of our people. I want to touch on once again about the Harriet Tubman movie. Actress Cynthia Erivo is facing a backlash for her upcoming role as American abolitionist Harriet Tubman. Many are upset that Erivo, who is Nigerian-British, was given the part instead of an African American actress and they’ve been voicing their opinions online using #NotMyHarriet, #HarrietDeservesBetter, and #ADOS.
