Content Warning: discussions of transphobic views

This week we look at the terrible transphobic TERF views of a once beloved children's author and millionaire, J.K. Rowling. We discuss her transphobic tweets, her 3000+ word essay 'TERF wars' that outlined the extent of her harmful views last year and the up to date outcomes of publicly transphobic women being endorsed. We also discuss the strange Draco simping and the embarrassing attempts for attention from Tom Felton and Cassandra Clare's chaotic fanfic beginnings before her mainstream fame. Pop culture moments of the week include more Kardashian nonsense, Trisha Paytas quitting frenemies (we do apologise for misgendering Trisha a couple of times at the beginning!) and Gabbie Hanna's evil behaviour towards Jessi Smiles.

This week we look at the evolution of Michael Schur's sitcom content, which we have become comfort watching to us. We look back at the incredibly problematic racist and sexist moments of The Office and how the shows have evolved to adapt to the changing political climate. We talk about the highs and the lows and how The Good Place's philosophical abstractions actually reflects our nonsensical world in a way that The Office might not do for today's audiences. Pop culture moments of the week include Olivia Rodrigo's new album, silly Kardashian drama, Eurovision and celebrity thruples...
