Sebastiaan Schlicher will upend the musical flow of Operator Radio's programming by installing one of his electronic machines in the studio and leaving it switched on for the duration of the show. A-dynamic mood shifter IV (2025) contains several sampling modules that randomly record, alter, and playback ambient sounds; radio broadcasts, and the machine's own internal processes, which are made audible through four onboard speakers. Expect to hear lo-fi static, hiss, rattle, silence, blips, bloops, and occasional bits of local radio. This show is dedicated to Jean Dubuffet, Jean Tinguely, and Wim T. Schippers.
