Co-founder of Huru-Hara, a collective dedicated to amplifying leftfield bass, dub, breaks and

IDM across Southeast Asia, Traction Control is the alias of DJ and producer A. Danial Iman

based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. His percussive, bass-heavy sound sits at the intersection of

dubstep, tribal rhythms and techno, shaped by hypnotic textures and heavy sub pressure.

His music has reached international airwaves through mixes on Rinse FM, Subtle Radio and

Nomad Radio, while also sharing stages locally and internationally with artists such as Laksa,

Elbarto, Burna, Hally, Dubrunner and Holloway, to name a few. In 2025, he debuted with the EP

Mirkwood on Malaysian label Sir Dub Muzik, followed by his self-released project Split Signal,

both gaining strong international support and laying the groundwork for forthcoming releases on

Hz Records and Taipan Trax this year.

Outside of music, Danial also works as a visual artist and graphic designer, creating identities

for collectives and parties across Malaysia and Australia including Flip The Lid, Primal Rhythm

and Vertigo Perth, extending his visual language into the same underground spaces that shape

his sound.

Where Lucratyf is a known player behind the scenes in our nightlife, Donk is a known player in the new generation DJ's from Breda.
