Foniks and MC Itto come by the studio of radioespacio.org as part of their visits from Japan. producer Foniks, originally from the US and currently based in Tokyo lays down a DJ set of funk infused beats including some of his own originals. MC Itto of Mush Records is a producer as well as a rapper. He talks to us about the Japanese hip hop scene, the difference between rapping in Japanese and English, and the overall hip hop scene in Tokyo. Itto performs a few songs live in studio including from his upcoming release as Shroom Gang. This is a really fun show.
